What is Advantage Multi?

Advantage Multi is a combined antiparasitic treatment for dogs and cats. It provides broad protection against multiple internal and external parasites through its formulation containing imidacloprid and moxidectin. This product acts on parasites present on the skin as well as those living inside the body.
It is available as topical pipettes that are easy to apply between the shoulder blades. Each dose is adjusted to the animal’s weight. Advantage Multi requires a veterinary prescription in Canada.

Dosage

• Green : under 4.5 kg
• Purple : 4,1–8,2 kg
• Red : 9.1-25 kg

How and how often should I give Advantage Multi to my pet?

Advantage Multi is administered topically, directly on the skin.
General instructions:

• Part the fur between the shoulder blades or along the neck.
• Apply the entire contents of the pipette directly onto the skin without massaging.
• Do not apply to irritated, wet, or damaged skin.
• Avoid touching or petting the application site until it is dry.

Frequency:

• Monthly, once every 4 weeks.
• Regular application is essential to maintain optimal protection.

What are the side effects and precautions associated with Advantage Multi?

Precautions

• For external use only; never ingest or apply near the eyes.
• Prevent the animal or other pets from licking the treated area.
• Do not use in animals that are too young; minimum age varies by formulation and should be confirmed with your veterinarian.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Possible side effects
